Account & Billing
Accessing Settings
Click "Settings" in the sidebar. The settings page is organized into tabs: Account, Workspace, Billing, Invitations, API Keys, and, for admins, Audit Log.
User Settings
- Email and password - Change your email address or update your password.
- Notification frequency - Choose how often you receive notifications: immediate, daily, weekly, or never.
- Theme - Select light, dark, or auto (follows your system preference).
Workspace Settings
- Name and description - Change the workspace name and description.
- Language - Set the workspace language used across the workspace experience.
- Allow Public Sharing - Toggle this setting to enable or disable public document share links for the entire workspace. When disabled, no new share links can be created and existing active links stop working. See Sharing Documents with Public Links for details.
Editors and admins can open the Workspace tab. Some actions on member management remain admin-only.
Billing
The Billing tab shows your current subscription, credit balance, recent transactions, payment methods, and billing history.
Use it to:
- review the active plan
- buy credit packs
- manage payment methods
- update auto top-up settings when available
Invitations
The Invitations tab serves two purposes:
- see invitations that are waiting for your response
- for admins, invite new workspace members and manage pending workspace invitations

API Keys
- Click "Settings" in the sidebar.
- Go to the "API Keys" tab.
- Click "Generate API Key".
- Copy the key immediately - it is only shown once.
API keys are workspace-scoped. Each key grants access only to the workspace it was created in. Use them with the Notoria REST API for programmatic access to your workspace data.
Audit Log
Workspace admins can open Audit Log to review recent activity across the workspace.
The audit log supports filters for actor, date, and entity type, including requests, automations, API keys, documents, and other major workspace actions.
FAQ
How do I change my email?
Go to "Settings" and update your email in the user settings section. You'll receive a confirmation email at the new address. Click the confirmation link to complete the change.
Can I transfer workspace ownership?
Contact support through "Help & Support" in the sidebar for ownership transfers.
Who can see the audit log?
Only admins can open the Audit Log tab.
Where is the dark mode setting?
Go to "Settings" and use the theme selector. Choose "dark" for permanent dark mode, or "auto" to follow your system preference.
